Our Vision

We aim to build a strong junior section for the future, becoming the leading junior centre of excellence in the area.

Development

Ensuring that juniors have a structure in place to develop their skills is of great importance to us. There are three levels that juniors can work their way through. Before moving to the next level they will be tested through a variety of tasks, skills tests and fun competitions.

Radyr Racoons - Beginners 

Radyr Rockets - Intermediate

Radyr Rhinos - Advanced 

Radyr Development Courses

Our 'Green' course is a shorter version of the main course that is perfect for Juniors who are advancing their skills. Our NEW shorter 'Orange' course, ideal for younger juniors, was launched in 2020 and we launched a 'Rainbow' course in 2023 which allows golfers to play from different tees from one hole to the next.

Club Membership Fees for Juniors 

To ensure that Juniors get the most out of their experience at Radyr Golf Club, we recommend that all Academy juniors join the Golf Club. This will allow them access to the course, inclusion into member competitions, and the ability to gain a handicap when the time is right for them.
